Report, August 24, 1716, of Samuel Penhallow and John Wentworth, members of the New Hampshire Council who were appointed to determine the location of the meeting house in the newly established township of Stratham. The report, a response to a petition of the Stratham selectmen, found that the structure should be erected on the property of Ephraim Levett [i.e. Leavitt]
