This collection contains correspondence, letters, publications, unpublished materials, newspaper clippings, addresses, and scrapbooks. The correspondence (1907-1958) deals mainly with this career at Iowa State; staffing needs, costs of extension, and plans for teaching. The writings and clippings address his interests of hybrid corn, extension, demonstration farms, "corn gospel trains," and crop diversification. The family scrapbooks contain family history, photographs, reminiscences, poetry, certificates, letters and articles.
