Scorebooks of the Easton (Pa.) Fleas community baseball team against teams from other communities and traveling Negro League Teams. Community teams are primarily from Eastern Pennsylvania including Allentown, Quakertown, and Bethlehem. Of primary note are scored game accounts of touring teams from the Negro Leagues that were played in Easton on Wednesdays during 1939. Opponents include: Newark Eagles (June 14 and Aug 16), Baltimore Black Sox (June 21), Ed Bolton's Colored Stars (July 12), Baltimore Elite Giants (July 19), New York Black Yankees (July 26), Brooklyn Royal Giants (August 9). Also included is a scored game with the Nashville Elite Giants (June 9, 1937), the Philadelphia Police team (June 1939), and game accounts between the Easton Old Timers and the Phillipsburg (N.J.) Old Timers between 1947 and 1955.
