Arminius Wright family papers, 1819-1884.

The collection consists of papers of Arminius Wright and the Wright family of Columbus, Georgia from 1819-1884. The papers include correspondence; bills and receipts; clippings; printed material; financial records; and genealogical materials pertaining to the Wright, Bardwell, and other allied families. The materials document the activies of the Wright family and contain some information on Wright's duties as minister (1872-1875) at St. Paul's Methodist Church (Columbus, Ga.). The correspondence consists of letters (1874-1884) from Homer Wright to his sister Fanny H. Wright, some while she attended Wesleyan Female College (Macon, Ga.), letters (1858-1883) pertaining to the management of the Wright household, and correspondence (1881-1883) concerning financial matters of Amelia Wright, mainly pertaining to real estate in Florida. Other correspondents include Ralph Wright, Arminius Wright, and E.L. Bardwell.
