Arminius Wright, Methodist minister, was born in Columbia County, Georgia, 4 March 1829, and died in Columbus, Georgia, 18 June 1879. He was granted a license to preach in 1845; was admitted on trial as an itinerant minister in 1846; and served churches throughout the North and South Georgia Conferences of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. He was married twice and was the father of nine children.
