Account book of Harris and Spangler's trading post, May 3, 1849- Feb. 11, 1858, in New Burlington (probably Ohio). The book includes: date, name of customer, items purchased, and amount of money paid. Goods include: opium (by the pound, see page 29), household goods, food, sewing supplies, gun supplies, and tobacco. A loose 1848-1849 bill (or receipt) is inside the back cover.
