Two volumes of handwritten, undated poems ad plays. Volume 2 has an index. Both volumes have a note identifying their author, Prof Everett Franklin, by his grandaughter, Louise M. Fitch of Grand Rapids (Mich.), dated Aug. 26, 1944. An 1844 certificate verifies that Everett served as the principal of the Canajoharie Academy (N.Y.) for four years and was a qualified teacher. The certificate was signed by 28 people, with their job titles, such as pastor, doctor, attorney, and merchant.
