April 30, 1764, letter from Lt. Col. William Browning, stationed at the British garrison at Fort Niagara, reporting during Pontiac's Rebellion to Sir William Johnson, British superintendent of Indian affairs and agent to the Iroquois, on the re-supply of the besieged garrison at Detroit via a new schooner route and on French prisoners brought to Niagara.
