The Ruth Atwood Black Collection of Alexander Black and Edith O'Dell Black, 1903-1969.

The collection includes correspondence, manuscripts, and printed materials by and about Alexander Black. It also contains the papers of Edith O'Dell, including materials from the McClure Syndicate, the P.E.N. Club, the O'Dell New Service and Golden Book Magazine, as well as other business and personal correspondence and biographical material. Finally, it contains a series of letters written to Ms. O'Dell's colleague at The World, Pomeroy Burton, and a collection of the correspondence of editors of the North American Review.
