Auditor of Public Accounts warrants were returned by the State Treasurer and then canceled. These canceled warrant entries include issuance date; serial number; warrant amount; person or firm to which warrant payable; payment reason; State Treasurer and Auditor of Public Accounts signatures; warrantee endorsement; and cancellation date. Warrants include those from the following funds: General (1822-1955); Commercial (1955-1970); Payroll (1950-1971); Motor Fuel Refund (1937-1970); Emergency Relief (1936-1943); Old Age Assistance (1940-1957); Aid to Dependent Children (1941-1957); Blind Assistance (1943-1957); Disability Assistance (1950-2957); Public Assistance (1957-1970); World War II Bonus (1947-1949); Korean War Bonus (1959-1961); and State Employees or Teachers' Retirement (1948-1970).
