Manuscript Minutes With Reports of Floor Committees 1948-1960.

Contains typed, unbound manuscript copies of minutes of the American Lutheran Church (ALC) conventions for 1948, 1954 and 1960, including minutes of the reports of the floor committees. These minutes differ from those found in ALC 2/2 in that they are unbound, are not signed by the church secretary, and contain more information. The minutes found in ALC 2/2 contain only the briefest description of what transpired on the convention floor, while the minutes contained in this series include detailed minuts of all of the reports presented to the church at the conventions by the various committees. These are not final copies of the. Minutes, as they differ somewhat in wording from the official bound copies of convention minutes located in ALC 2/1.
