Dr. Richard Arthur Bolt (1880-1959), an authority on child health care, received an M.D. from University of Michigan (1906) and Doctorates in Public Health from Johns Hopkins (1923) and University of California (1924). Bolt was medical director of U.S. Indemnity College (Tsing Hua College), Peking (1911-1916).
