Comprises 59 letters and military documents signed by Napoleon I, members of his family, his marshals, and his cabinet ministers, mounted on individual sheets each bearing transcript, translation, and biographical sketch of the signer; along with 130 engravings and photographic reproductions chiefly of contemporary portraits and statues, and a large scarf depicting the "Stage of Europe, 1812."
