Florence F. Hickey scrapbooks, 1881-1944 (bulk 1905-1944).

Contains 264 scrapbooks of pictures and articles clipped from leading newspapers and magazines, postcards, correspondence, poems, etc. about most states of the Union and numerous nations of the world. Several scrapbooks focus on places and events in the Greater Cincinnati area. One scrapbook deals with her husband's employer, the Cincinnati & Suburban Bell Telephone Company, and another with the American Legion, in which they were active. She collected biographical information on notable personalities, including J. L. G. Ferris, Matt A. Daly, Napoleon, U.S. presidents and the Longworth, Lindbergh and Dionne families. She also gathered material on matters of current interest, such as World War II, fashions, animals, motion pictures, hobbies, transportation, architecture and art. Also contains 7 index volumes, 14 notebooks, and 2 printed works volumes.
