Capitol Center Complex proposal plan 1946-1948.

The series contains the proposed plan, dated 1946-1948, for the Capitol Center Complex prepared by landscape architect Albert D. Taylor and submitted to the Florida State Improvement Commission. The records consist of a volume containing photographs of existing conditions and drawings of the complex development. The volume also includes contour maps, land acquisition maps, and a list of lands acquired by the state, with the cost and names of individuals from whom the land was purchased. In the front of the volume is an index to the plans, photos and map legends. The records also include seven loose drawings. There are six mounted sketches of the proposed Capitol Center Complex development by Taylor, and one drawing of the interior design of the first floor of the Capitol by Jack Cameron Designs, Inc.
