List of plats and certificates of surveys made under the orders of Council in favour of the Loyal Company from the Virginia Land Office, 1783-1815.

These records contain a list of plats and certificates made under the orders of Council in favor of the Loyal Company which were returned to the Land Office on May 4, 1783, by Thomas Walker, a member of the Company, in conformity with a decree of the Court of Appeals delivered by May 2, 1783. In columns are recorded the name of the person for whom the survey was returned, the amount of composition money paid, the date the grant was issued, to whom it was issued, and the name of the agent of the company who authorized issuance of the grant. Inverted and reversed in the back of the volume is a list of titles of acts which concern the Land Office and the duties of the register as passed by the General Assembly between 1779 and 1815. Titles of two colonial acts pertaining to the Northern Neck are also listed.
