Additional information (all 2002 photocopies) on Eleazer includes research notes about his journal on Lake Champlain; notes from the journal, which were published in the New England Chronicle, June 1, 1775; Oswald Chronology, 1750-1797; and an abstract of a Ph. D. thesis entitled, Col. Eleazer Oswald : politican and editor, by Vernon O. Stumpf, Dept. of History, Duke Univ., 1968. The journal has a brief and interesting description of Benedict Arnold's raid at St. John's, Canada, on May 18, 1775.
