Oral history interviews of the Minnesota Water Resources Board Oral History Project, 1977 [sound recording].

Eight interviews with members of the Minnesota Water Resources Board and have been involved with various soil conservation and land use projects in Minnesota. They discuss the development of soil conservation programs, government involvement, the reaction of farmers to the programs and the role of the agricultural community, the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps, the Soil Conservation Service and the Soil Conservation Society of America. INTERVIEWEES: Herbert Flueck, William Kircher, Alan Laidlaw, Philip Manson, Werner Schaenzer, Horace Thomas, Cornelius Van Doren, Chester Wilson.
