North Wing Dedication Photographs 1965-1966.

This series consists of photographs documenting the construction and dedication of the North Wing of University Hospital. The photographs were originally in a scrapbook, but have been removed for preservation purposes. The order of the scrapbook, however, has been maintained. The images document the construction and dedication of the North Wing. The North Wing was a one hundred bed unit for psychiatric services and for the training of mental health specialists. Additional space in the structure was used for radiology services, surgery suites, and emergency services. The structure was built on the site of the Hillman Outpatient Clinic Building. Photographs provide information about the construction of the building, the interior of the building, and dedication ceremonies including the people who attended the ceremonies. The photographs date form 1965 to 1966.
