Director's Committee Files 1961-1972.

This series is comprised of materials collected by Dr. Charles D. Kochakian, director of the Laboratory of Experimental Endocrinology. The files document Dr. Kochakian's activities as chair of the Medical Center Radioisotope Committee, 1961-1970; the ad hoc committee for the development of the "This Atomic World" program with the Oak Ridge Associated Universities; and the Sigma Xi Committee. These materials include information about who attended committee meetings; the time, date, and place of meetings; and issues discussed at meetings. Also included is a copy of a radiation safety manual developed by the radioisotope Committee. Correspondence documents activities relating to the 25th anniversary of the Oak Ridge Associated Universities and to Kochakian's interest in taking students to Oak Ridge for tours and observations.
