An autobiography, 1952.

An autobiography of William Hamilton Lawrence, a lawyer who was born in Wabasha, Minnesota. It begins with genealogical data on the Lawrence and Wyman families. The Lawrence family came to Massachusetts from England in 1630, and later settled in New Hampshire and New York. Brief biographical data is given on William Lawrence's grandfather Gardner Lawrence (1797-1851) and on his father James Gardner Lawrence (1836-1928). Lawrence's maternal ancestors are also briefly discussed. The Wyman family lived in Massachusetts and Connecticut and in 1855 Charles Dexter Wyman settled in Wabasha, Minnesota. His daughter, Alice Gilman Wyman (1853-1930) married James Gardner Lawrence.
