A collection of scrapbooks created by the USJB from 1901-1941 documenting important religious and cultural events on the local and national level for the Franco American community mostly in the New England area. Types of materials includes newspaper clippings from French and English language newspapers throughout New England, correspondence, brochures from local and national conferences, religious realia, telegrams. Includes scrapbooks dedicated to National Eucharistic Congresses and local USJB conferences. Items of note are 3 scrapbooks containing extensive information on the "Sentinelle" Affair, also known as "La Controverse du Rhode Island".
