Consists of papers and photographs documenting the remodeling of a Dayton Fire Station (No. 9) into Jane Reece's photography studio, tributes to Reece, information about her exhibitions, and examples of her work. Richard D. Fullerton was long-time friend and associate of Jane Reece as well as a photographic historian.

Jane Reece was photographer, born ca. 1861, who developed her talent with little formal training. She began her career in Dayton, Ohio, in 1904. During her 40 years of work she worked out many inovative photographic techniques, received numerous awards and tributes, participated in hundreds of exhibitions and influenced and was influenced by many of the pioneer artistic photographers of her day, such as the Photo-Secessionists. Richard Fullerton was born in Jersey City, NJ in 1915. He graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine in 1938. After service in the Army, Fullerton joined the Air Force and worked in the Photography Lab at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He was employed there first in the service and then as a civilian for thirty years until he retired in 1972.
