Eisenhower letter and photograph : sent to M. E. Batier, 1957 August 9.

Signed letter from President Eisenhower, thanking Mr. Batier for sending him a bronze medal depicting George Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette in commemoration of the longstanding friendship between the United States and France. The medal was sent on behalf of the French veterans who served under Eisenhower's command in World War II. Framed together with the letter is a photograph of Eisenhower.
