Consists of a letter from S.C. Jackson to her son, Rev. Samuel C. Jackson, in which she lectures him at length on avoiding debt, making a successful marriage, proper Christian behavior, and his support of the "wicked" Andrew Jackson in his presidential race against John Quincy Adams in 1828.
