Correspondence, itineraries, mss. of eyewitness newspaper and periodical accounts, and other items, relating to the crash of a chartered airliner at Orly Airport, Paris, France, June 3, 1963, carrying 121 Americans, 106 from metropolitan Atlanta, Ga., returning from a museum tour of France sponsored by Atlanta Art Association. Persons represented include Aubrey Morris, WSB television and radio correspondent, Ivan Allen, mayor of Atlanta, and associate city attorney Edwin L. Sterne, who traveled to Paris following the crash.

Aubrey Morris was born on January 11, 1922 in Roswell, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1945 with a B.A. in journalism and began working at the Atlanta Journal, where he was a police reporter for thirteen years. Morris married his wife Tera, with whom he had three children, while he was working for the Atlanta Journal.
