Chiefly official correspondence, committee files, and other papers, relating to McLeod's activities as attorney general; includes separate series files reflecting his membership on the Judicial Modernization Committee and involvement with the Professional Responsibility Committee of the South Carolina Bar (1977-1981). Files document McLeod's active involvement as a member of the Court Organization Subcommittee and the Discipline Procedures Subcommittee, which drafted grievance rules ultimately adopted by the S.C.
