Letter (1) states that the most perfect and largest collection of Ireland forgeries was that sold at [William] Harrison's sale [Jan. 25-28, 1881]; with it is a note by Augustin Daly that is referred to his collection of Ireland material. (2-3) give instructions to purchase certain Clopton mss. at two Sotheby sales.
