In no. 8 of June 12, [1773?] she asks Mrs. Garrick to intercede between her husband and Dr. Hawkesworth in their disagreement. Nos. 9-10 are written after the death of her husband and in the last she asks if Mr. Garrick will favour her with any essays ... of her late husband as she is collecting materials for an edition of his work.
