Autograph letter signed from Mrs. M. Roberts, No. 9 Princes Street, Edinburgh, to Mrs. Garrick, Adelphi Terrace, London [manuscript], 1804 November 14.

Year taken from postmark. Hears from Mrs. Wallis that she is well. Concerned that Mrs. Garrick could not find two volumes of a description of Scotland which she had lent them. They finished them while at her house and wrapped them up and left them in the bow room or study. Perhaps the maid misplaced them. The only book they took with them was West's Tour to the Lakes, which has already been returned. Thanks her for the kind offer of taking some novels to read in the carriage, but they had too many parcels. With integral address leaf.
