Autograph letter signed from James Duff, Earl of Fife, Duff House, to Mrs. Garrick, Hampton by London [manuscript], 1789 August 5.

The newspapers report that she is in Bath for a pain in her stomach. He has visited her delightful mansion but was not satisfied in not finding the Queen of the Meadow. A letter from Weymouth has the most charming accounts of the dear king's health and spirits. He intends to send Burk to France where there are fine materials for his genius.
