Missionary correspondence files, 1846-2005.

Official missionary personnel and correspondence files between missionaries and mission administrators in Richmond. The files usually includes application form and other biographical data on missionaries. The files include reports and correspondence related to the work and life of the mission and the missionaries. The location of missions is primarily in China, Liberia, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, and Italy. Some files are extensive while others include only a single folder. Selected files have been cataloged individually. Additions to these files are expected.
