Citizens for Participation in Political Action (CPPAX) was formed in December 1972, by the merger of Massachusetts Political Action for Peace (MassPAX) and Citizens for Participation Politics (CPP). CPPAX endeavors to further progressive issues through citizen participation in the electoral process. These issues include peace and disarmament, housing, and civil rights.
