Organized into four series: People (Negs. 1-432 & Sheets 1-13); Towns (Negs. 433-1115 & Sheets 14-32); Topical (Negs. 1116-2200 & Sheets 33-53) and Aerials (Negs. 2201-2217). Cover a wide variety of topics including, Gov. Fred Aandahl, Baldhill Dam, C. Norman Brunsdale, Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower at the Garrison Dam closure (1953), Peggy Lee (1950), Fargo, floods, Mandan Refinery, Nonpartisan League conventions (1952-1956), oil, Sheyenne River, sugarbeets, Theodore Roosevelt National Memorial Park, Pres. Harry S. Truman, Thomas E. Whelan and some taken in Minnesota. Most are only briefly identified.
