Recordings are of interviews with old-time music string band and early country musicians and music industry personnel. Gardner and Knapke are interviewed regarding early radio personality and musician Harry ("Haywire Mac") McClintock of Tennessee. There is also a 1955 letter tape from John Edwards to the Hawkings brothers.
