Saying that he just returned from Antwerp, where he unexpectedly had to conduct a Festkonzert ([Beethoven's] Ninth Symphony, [Wagner's] Kaisermarsch, etc.), adding that his programs are set for the following winter but asking Ries to send any recent works (Novitäten) to him Cologne and he will consider them for future seasons.
