Saying that for the performance of his Requiem Mass at the funeral of the late sovereign [Francis I, king of the Two Sicilies] he engaged a singer named Tamburini, a well mannered and good musician, who sang very well and with such modesty as is appropriate in a church, sending greetings to her husband [Giuseppe Pollini], "the model of a musician and of an honest man," etc.
