Autograph letter signed, dated : Utrecht, 15 September 1870, to an unidentified recipient, 1870 Sept. 15.

Saying that the day before he received a letter from Reinecke in Leipzig discussing the conditions in Graz and suggesting that if Witte were interested in the position he not delay, adding that an old acquaintance, Herr Radecki [i.e. Rudolf or Robert Radecke?], had already applied, giving a résumé of Witte's education and professional work, saying that owing to a finger sprain he suffers from arthritis, mentioning Stockhausen, Reiter, etc.
