Offering suggestions for the preface to the first part of his Method, saying that regarding Weitzmann's historical synopsis he should note the heights to which the art of piano playing has progressed, that hand in hand with piano playing has gone piano composition, which Beethoven endowed with significant content and solid form, and Liszt, in power and "Klangfülle," its latest consummation, saying that to give the Method not only practical but historical value Liszt will edit the third part, adding that Weitzmann himself will write a general introduction on the development and growth of the art, etc.
