Autograph letters signed (2), dated : Dresden, 19 January 1821 and 20 June 1825, to N. Simrock in Bonn, 1821 Jan. 19.

Offering [in 1821] his Bassoon Concerto, First and Second Clarinet Concertos, Overtures to Silvana, Abu Hassan, and Freÿschütz (his newest opera, the first to be performed in the Schauspielhaus in Berlin), an aria for tenor with chorus, a soprano aria for [Therese] Grünbaum, and a volume of six songs; and saying [in 1825] that Euryanthe will be sent in a few days, that Livius took a copy of Abu Hassan (and other things), that the opera was performed in London, as was Freÿschütz, which Schott bought, but adding that so far Weber has seen neither a word about them nor any money from Schott, saying he has cashed the £100 received through Bassenge and will calculate further with Kemble, adding that he has written an additional ariette for Abu Hassan, which he will not send Simrock on this occasion, etc.
