Autograph letter signed, dated : [n.p., Dresden?], 6 November 1822, to [Hans v. Könneritz], 1822 Nov. 6.

Saying he was troubled by what the Könneritz wrote, thanking him for all the kindnesses he has shown Weber and reaffirming his affection, adding that he cannot deny that, to be sure, wounds of six years have stirred up bitter feelings, fearing that his own behaviour may at times seem sharp and hurtful but assuring him that he does not wish it, saying that Könneritz could do him no greater favor than to point out such instances--Weber will never confuse his master's authority with the goodness of his person--, expressing the hope that they can speak about Abu Hassan soon, etc.
