Autograph letter signed, dated : Dublin, 16 April [1859], to Mr. Richard, 1859 Apr. 16.

Asking him to place some "absurd little seals" on his sisters' desks, complaining that "the stupid maker" of the seals put thistles on them instead of shamrocks, commenting on her recent performances in Dublin, including Verdi's Macbeth--"I think [I] may say without being thought too vain that I have never met with a more complete success than in the most difficult part of the cruel Lady M."--, saying that the theatres in London "seem to be in a bad condition," adding "How shocking about poor Mme Bosio's death! She certainly was the most brilliant soprano now," etc.
