Autograph letter signed, dated : Vienna, 16 October 1838, to N[icolas] Mori in London, 1838 Oct. 16.

Saying that he does not think it is in the interest of Mori fils to accompany Thalberg, that he has changed his itinerary somewhat and that he will go to Berlin, Warsaw, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Riga, Bremen, and Hamburg, saying he would have little time to devote to Frank and could not introduce him in houses where he himself is a stranger, reminding him of the cold weather to be endured, suggesting that Frank remain in Vienna for some time and study counterpoint with Sechter, etc.
