Concerning the publication of his works, explaining why he does not want an exclusive contract with Peters, asking why he should lay claim only to Peters's money to pay for his compositions, saying that Peters cannot use everything that Ries writes, listing his op. 132-145 and their publishers (Clementi, Goulding, Willis, Addison, Schlesinger, Naegeli, Schott, Probst), mentioning Peters's predecessor, Kühnel, complaining of a breaking out (Ausschlag) on his lips, mentioning his doctor, H. von Walter, commenting on the death of C.M. von Weber, "einer unsrer talentvollen Künstler," asking for information about Weber's role in Dresden, etc.
