Saying he has no intention of going to Milan for Sigurd because of the cuts inflicted on his score--a performance thus mutilated holds no interest for him--, saying of a named but unidentified singer who would like to sing the role of Uta that if she came to Paris he would gladly hear her and tell the recipient what he thinks of her talent, but adding that the role is not that of a young girl and is probably not suited to the recipient's protégée, etc.
