Saying he is glad that the recipient's notes are not sad, to take care to "lambire i deretani dei botoli di Guttenberg e fatto con grazia e leggerezza umettando a dovere gli usati loro sfinteri per l'introduzione del tuo turgido cosmos " asking him to greet "il principe Toscanini," mentioning Tosca, etc.; the meaning of parts of the letter is obscure and has not been summarized here.
