Autograph letter signed, dated : Dresden, 26 July 1801, to [Ambrosius] Kühnel, 1801 July 26.

Thanking him for a volume of Bach's works but adding that Wenz[e]l Müller's music would be more popular in Dresden, saying that the piano arrangement of his own Donauweibchen will be published by Spehr in Braunschweig, mentioning a visit with [Franz Anton] Hoffmeister, and adding that Kühnel's Viennese fortepianos are not yet known in Berlin.
