Sending Berlioz's libretto [for Benvenuto Cellini], saying that he has read it and re-read it and believes it to be "très propre à la musique, de Berlioz surtout, et à tous les developpemens de luxe, de mise en scène et de décorations nécessaires à l'Opéra," asking Véron to read it and not to be put off by the title and by "l'obscurité dramatique du nom de l'arrangeur," etc.
