Autograph letter signed, dated : [n.p., Paris, n.d.], to [Emile] Deschamps, [ca. 1839 Nov.?].

Apologizing for the omission of Deschamps's name, saying that had he done for les Débats what he did for the Journal géneral de France the mistake would not have occurred, that he has sent fifteen or so lines to Th. Gauthier and St Chéron, that he hopes Jannin [i.e. Jules Janin] will publish something soon about Deschamps's "beaux vers [for Berlioz's Roméo et Juliette]," mentioning Armand [Bertin], Raoul Rochette, etc.
