Saying that he "was deeply touched at your words about my Adagio [for Strings]," that he is "utterly submerged in the completion of my opera [i.e. Anthony and Cleopatra]," that the music is finished, cast chosen, "and now all I have to do is fill in one thousand empty pages of orchestration," asking if Malko knows the new version of Medea--"It is much better. Munch has just recorded it for Victor"--, etc.
